Hi Folks.

I've not been on DeviantArt much. I think thats probably because doing so hits a frustrating theme in my life. This place seems like a giant popularity contest. So every time I stare at my pageviews, I just think "oh man, why aren't they higher?" Well maybe I suck at publicity, or maybe I just am not good at staying in touch, but it's no good.

When the admin created the feature where you can hide pageviews I got excited. I promptly made them invisible. Well, what ended up happening? I just stopped going to DA. So I guess it was just a giant popularity contest for me. Ew. Am I really that low?

So next I realize that it's just not that simple. My frustration is really that I feel that I just don't ever get an attention. Now I dont' mean this in the boo hoo why am I not popular way. I just mean, there are many (not all), but many of my friends who just don't freeking contact me. They say that they would like to hang, and want to do all this cool stuff. Well, why the hell am I always the one that has to call up?

So in short, I'm sorry if I've neglected your commission, yes, they are still on my mind. No, I don't plan on never uploading art again, and yes I'm still doing art.

But man oh man. I'm not blaming you guys. I'm not blaming anyone. I get busy too, I have a full time job, I have a life, I don't get enough sleep, but I try to stay in touch. Why do I have to do all the work.

Thank you to all of you out there who tried, and are my wonderful cohorts in this crazy vortex called life. And a big fat giant whatever to all of you out there who can't practice what you preach.
